2015 Seminar List:
KASI Solar and Space Weather Group operates 4 radio instruments to acquire data of the Sun and the near Earth environment
KSRBL observes the solar microwave spectra originating mainly from low coronal flares.
CALLISTO observes the metric and decimetric wave bursts from high coronal shocks and energetic electron beams.
The VAP ground station receives the realtime space weather data from the VAPs, the twin satellites which measure the properties of charged particles and electromagnetic fields of the Earth's magnetosphere.
The VHF Ionospheric Radar observes the Earth's ionospheric irregularities using radio pulses.
The acquired data are used in monitoring and research of the Sun and space weather.
