The East-Asian VLBI Network (EAVN) is in the planning stage under international collaboration between Korea, China, and Japan.
EAVN consists of the Korean VLBI Network (KVN), the Chinese VLBI Network (CVN), and the Japanese VLBI Network (JVN) including VERA, with more than 10 telescopes depending on the observing frequency.
EAVN will be mainly operated at 6.7, 8, 22, and 43 GHz, although EAVN has an ability to conduct observations at 2 - 129 GHz.
In 2013, the EAVN Tiger Team has been organized to promote test observations and to clarify the problems for future regular operation.
We have concuted fringe test observations eight times to date and fringes have been successfully detected at 8 and 22 GHz, although there are several problems which is primarily caused by different observation system between each VLBI network.
I will report the overview, current status of test observations, and future prospects of EAVN.
