For the second KaVA observing season from January 2015 to June 2015 (2015A), three 21 m KVN antennas and four 20 m VERA antennas are opened for single-frequency single-polarization (LCP) observations at K and Q bands. Recording rate of 1024 Mbps=1 Gbps (total bandwidth of 256 MHz) will be open for the 2015A CfP. Correlation of the KaVA data will be done by Daejeon correlator at KJCC. Total observing time up to 260 hours will be available for the common-use observing time for KaVA in the 2015A period. The application must be received by
for the 2015A CfP. Proposals of which principal investigator (PI) belongs to the Korean and Japanese institutes/universities can be accepted for the 2015A CfP, but proposers are not required to include collaborators from KVN/VERA projects as a co-investigator (CoI). From 2015A CfP, proposals from the PIs belonging to Chinese and Taiwanese institutes/universities are also accepted. They are strongly recommended to add at least one collaborator(s) belonging to either KVN or VERA project. Note that the KaVA observing sessions in 2015A will be carried out as risk-shared open use.
